Dramatic Dance Troupe Comes to (name of town)

For many young people, Spring break is a time to sleep late and hang out, but for (# in group) students from an International Boarding School on Vancouver Island, Spring break will become an opportunity to share powerful messages with youthful audiences here in (name of town).

High energy Step and Hip Hop, along with dramatic dances about issues such as drugs, racism and peer pressure, make an exciting and dynamic program that goes beyond the intellect and right to the heart.

"Youth relate to the action and energy of other youth", says program director Laura Lee.  "Our audiences are usually riveted by the emotional impact and the meaningful concepts that are portrayed.   Teachers and administrators often say our program is the most effective they have ever had in their school."

The youth are from the Maxwell International Baha'i School, and range from grade 8 to 12.  They practice after school and on weekends in order to participate in this educational arts outreach project whose goal is to address many of the critical issues that youth have to deal with every day.

We do over 75 performances each year all over Canada, the US and other countries.  While some members are here in (name of town here, and correct information below) others young performers will be visiting other cities in the US and Japan!

While in (name of town), they will be performing at (list of schools and other venues)

The trip wouldn't be possible without the help and support of the local community, Lee states.  They will be hosted by local members of the community who are willing to offer a bed or a floor, or prepare a meal.

The Dance Workshop program has similar counterparts all over the world.  One such project in Kosovo, has been performed in almost every school there as a means of healing the youth community and building bridges that eliminate ethnic prejudices.

You won't want to miss their public performance on (insert appropriate information)

The music and dances are exciting, the energy is contagious and the message is powerful:

Youth Can Move The World!
